We‘ve chosen our first FreeWheeling WanderTrip in two gorgeous countries with some of the most beautiful nature and coastal drives in Europe. Croatia and Slovenia , two Central and Southeastern European countries blessed with natural beauty in abundance . Croatia with a 1780 kms coastline along the deep blue waters of the Adriatic and about 1200 islands and islets with another 4500 kms of coast ! Imagine driving this beautiful coast along the hills of the Dinaric Alps dotted with castles and stunning views popping up in-front of your eyes amazing you as you take a turn . Slovenia on the other hand feels pristine and is known for its mountains , lakes , natural springs , hiking and skiing . The Julian Alps have beautiful forests , vast meadows and gurgling crystal clean rivers . Slovenia feels mysterious and miraculous at the same time .
From the capital Zagreb in the North , going through stunning natural reserves with an amazing system of lakes and waterfalls , drive down the spectacular coast upto Dubrovnik with its imposing 16th century walls encircling the old town right at the tip of the peninsula jutting out into the Adriatic. Listen to the Sea Organ or just jump into the blue waters next to the promenade in Zadar and have a lifetime experience flying in your own private airplane over the islands off the coast of Zadar . Take a day trip and to one of the gorgeous islands like Hvar from the city of Split , laze in the sun , swim in crystal blue waters and eat at one of the beach side cafe‘s .
